Aspire To Be Network is a Ghanaian social enterprise supporting students to make clear, informed career decisions through guidance, mentorship, and the Aspire Edu app.
Too many young people leave school unsure of what comes next. The connection between the subjects they study, the courses they can pursue, and the careers open to them is often invisible — so choices get made in the dark.
Aspire To Be Network exists to close that gap: to help every student understand their options, plan their path, and step into their future prepared — with no dead ends.
When we started our school engagements in 2021, something became impossible to ignore. Students had real questions about their futures — which course, which path, what their grades could unlock — and once we packed up and left, those questions had nowhere to go. The answers walked out of the room with us.
So we made a deliberate choice: we stepped back from engagements to build something that could stay behind. A companion students could turn to at any hour, whether or not we were in the room — the Aspire Edu app.
That's why Aspire is more than a series of visits. It's a guide that lives in a student's pocket: schools, cutoffs, careers, pathways, and Abena, an AI counsellor ready whenever a question comes up. The work we do in person and the app now move together — so a student is never left with a question and no way to answer it.
